How The District Manager of Aftersales Role is Changing

How The District Manager of Aftersales Role is Changing

Postby WhoParted » Mon Mar 12, 2018 8:06 pm

Anybody else notice this little tidbit? So DMA's are not able to help with expediting back orders? We have to deal with the idiots at SPAC....wonderful

This strategy requires a fundamental change to the dealer contact through CCA's implementation of the Standardized Dealer Contact Process. Each DMA will have the following five Service Lane Priorities for every dealer contact: 1) Grow Revenue Through a Focused Product Category Approach, 2) Service Lane Processes, 3) Digital Presence, 4) Develop Dealer Business Plans and 5) Implementation/Execution of PASE Program

To help support this transition, we are actively improving our processes and systems to more effectively support your Warranty Administration, SPAC and other administrative needs. As we move forward, the following teams are empowered and prepared to provide support.

Warranty Administration & Compliance items: Please partner with your dedicated Warranty Support Representative via the Warranty Support Center at (866) 446-2900
Dealer Administrative questions: Please contact the Dealer Business Center Team at (888) 414-6322
Parts Availability issues: Please work with our dedicated SPAC Team at (855) 462-2737

That just means absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing, will change. Except the DMAs will now actually acknowledge that you have a parts manager and harass us to buy more parts. Then they'll go to your DP or GM and tell them how much money you're leaving on the table by not buying $3000 of brake pads, or $5000 of oil filters. And with all this new free time on your hands (because SPAC will now actually DO their jobs) you can now work more closely with your service manager to maximize this return on investment.

Bwahahahahahah

Well, that's what the bulletin stated (Sarcasm)

Like I said, nothing will change.

This has already happened to me. We are out of room for large items and have had to put full bin quantity to 1 on anything of substantial size.

It is on the Global home page as one of the features. I sent my rep a message a week ago about an issue. I said to him I am not if this is part of your job description or not, but if it still is please check into this SPAC case. His response was I will check into it. That was the last I heard.
