Hazmat WPC Return Question

WPC requesting a return of a used fuel injector along with a HP fuel pipe. WPC paperwork has disclaimer about parts that have come in contact with fuel etc. needing special classification.

What type of Hazmat would this be considered, besides the 'potentially flammable' designation? Label(s)? Where can I find detailed info?

The amount of 'fuel smell' is very limited.

Do I need to adhere to all this 'Hazmat' overkill on this one?

i'm certified hazmat, but i use it so infrequently that i'm not 100% on the proper procedure.

When you print out your return label (the one that has the parts list), under "Replacement Parts" the next to the last column will show if the part(s) is/are "Hazardous". Thats what I go by and it has seemed to work.

the 2 pipes ( # 12677004 & # 12677002 ) along with injector ( # 12687650 ) are said to be non hazardous, then GM throws this in " Dealers are responsible to comply with all laws, including Dangerous Goods Transportation rules. To be eligible for reimbursement for warranty parts that contained fuel or otherwise came into contact with fuel, the parts must be treated as a Hazardous Material in compliance with DOT rules. (E.g. Packaging, paperwork, marking, labeling and placarding). Therefore, shipments must be prepared by a 49 CFR Hazardous Certified individual. In addition to rejection of shipments and denial of payment by GM, failure to comply can result in civil penalties from Government enforcement agencies. GM is not providing legal advice but recommends that Dealers seek expert counsel to
determine DOT compliance." Where do you find the info to fill out the bill of lading to send back??

Thank you for the info. None of the parts actually have the 'hazardous' designation, but the Special Instructions on this return threw me for a loop.
I sent them back via UPS. Bagged and boxed.
