GM Surcharge

From the PASE handbook;
'What happens if I miss a qualifier?
• Dealerships missing any of qualifiers will be given up to 2 passes in 2018, in order to get the pass the dealership must:
• be above 70% on RIM Compliance for the month in which a qualifier was missed
• have been on RIM Terms for the previous 3 months
• The pass will happen automatically and PASE payout will happen as scheduled (ie – April payout will happen in late May)'
Won't do any good but I would bitch as loud as I could to anyone that would listen.

I'm gonna roll with it for now. I have worse problems to sort out. Everyday is a new piece of the puzzle for me here. Sent an engine back to GM back in April (Warranty) and the core is still in my core inventory.

Our inventory was 8k+ last year, and I'm finding parts that we "returned" but we are still showing in inventory. Go to look for the part, and part is not there.

I see lots of Advil in my future.

Here is some more information. We were at 94 % RIM compliant for the month of July but since we haven't met all of GM's compliances we did not receive a RIM return this month either. They tell you to purchase their garbage and they will protect it until they change the program. I'm exhausted trying to keep with their BS.

The surcharge runs for 9 business days after you become complaint again. You'll see the change in your GM invoices, where you would then no longer be charged the surcharge.

And when you go out of compliance, you are not eligible to submit a RIM return until you again become compliant.

It stinks man, it really does.

It should be illegal, and may be.

Did you have your warranty clerk bill GM for the core? Otherwise you'll never get it back. Whose DMS are you on?

I’m on Reynolds. We did get the credit back for the engine, the previous PM never followed up on it. I’ve since adjusted my core inventory.
