GM Earn no power

My earnpower account has only made $101 in a year and a half. Is this normal or is someone else taking the parts end of this program? I know I sent one of my counter workers to a gm accessory golf outing a couple months ago. He returned with a $100 earnpower gift certificate from accessories of Michigan. Do the ltz/vpo dealer ordered for new vehicle pain in our but accessories earn points? We handle a lot of these every day and get nothing for them. They take up a lot of space and seem to be slow to leave.

We haven't been receiving many points for a long time here either. And I have half of a shed full of LPO's and no you don't get anything for them. Just embrace it, be one with it, and accept it.

I know that is the truth lately. Glad I was part of it when we had more control over our department. 10 years ago and before we would win a good trip every other year. Plus the award points were great. I was able to give my counter guys the catalog to pick out several nice gifts every year in December. 42 years in, retiring for a while in June 19

I earned around $700.00 worth of earnpower points last year. I ordered the items at an inflated price and then received a 1099 from GM last year that I had to pay taxes on. I'm not interested in participating in the earnpower program when those instances occur. There isn't anything that I care to get that I don't go out and buy on my own.

Hate to bring this thread back from the dead but I thought it would be better then starting a new one for the same thing. I just checked my earn power account. Have not earn much of anything in the past year and wondering why ? 2 or so years ago we got a decent amount from the accessory lpo crap each month but I didn't really get anything last year. What are you guys doing to get any points these days????
