Advantage Pads and Rotors

Advantage Pads and Rotors

Postby bluepart » Thu Nov 08, 2018 2:38 pm

I do not see AC DELCO Advantage brake pads and rotors listed on more and more vehicles. My catalog settings are set to show them. Any ideas ?

Could be a setting. when in a part group listing, check the "qualifier" setting

I've noticed this as well. I don't think it's a setting. Or maybe I'm just not seeing it. Correct me if I'm wrong please, Bluepart.

There are two places to check the Qualifier settings. One in the upper right corner of the catalog window:
Settings>Application Settings>General Settings tab> Qualifier drop-down
AND:
Within the group, the Qualifier section next to the "Type to Narrow" field.

Mine got changed, somehow, after an update once.

Just one example of many. VIN 8j126646 uses 19241834 advantage rotors on frt// 19241843 advantage rotors on rear. I have sold a lot of these. Fits 07 13 ck body styles. I have these on the shelf that RIM put there. The price was decent. Now they only list OE, Professional and Specialty. How are my people going to sell these parts if not listed in the look-up. The settings are correct to show advantage. but in a lot of cases, only the park brake shoes are listed. ????

Hey BluePart, If you do not shut down your catalog each nite some little gremlins take some of the AC Delco Parts away. Have had multiple phone calls to Mike At Snap-on Business Solutions (awesome guy) and Yes it does happen. Not every nite but occasionally it happens. I personally like keeping my catalog open every nite so you do not lose your parts list on the bottom of the catalog page after shutting down and when I get to work in the morning I will check in group 5.017 to see if the non-coated rotors are in the catalog or not. If not shut catalog down and WaLa they show up. One of many "work arounds" us ol' veterans have to put up with. Still struggling on group numbers for Colorado TRUCKS!!
