GM down?

Love it, go to place my late order, system times out.

Call SPAC to manually add it. "The system is experiencing technical difficulties" and hangs up on you.

Oh yea... GM is typically down when most of the east coast is trying to place their daily orders... Reynolds tells me to use the website, good luck with that! Everything is dead! You wonder why this god forsaken company is going under for the second time in 10 years? They could care less about the customer! Try telling your customer you are out of brake pads for their car? I had to do that this morning, it's embarrassing! I haven't had a RIM order since Wednesday! My local PDC is holding all RIM and DRO till they can get caught up. You can't make this up, but my DM called me today to tell me the district is running behind and that she needs me to place a big order by the end of the month.. Guess what? She is not getting anything!

This is getting old, same issues with global connect now for 2 months, spac cases and answerbacks are a constant frustration. Our local PDC decided to take extended Thanksgiving vacation, when they were already behind because of snow. We are 3 stockorders behind at the moment, and they are not supposed to be caught up until end of week. It amazes me that the lack of effort and communication yet once again.

Part of me thinks that GM downed their system so that the PDC's could make an attempt to catch up on the DRO/RIM lines that they held.

They're too stupid to think of that.

Maybe GM could use some of the extra money that there going to make for their shareholders by closing plants and putting thousands of people out of work and invest it in a new IT department.

But then they couldn't use that money to line their pockets. Besides, why would they do anything that might actually help us out?

Same thing happened here. Now it's off to call SPAC (if the number works today) and get a case number to send all this crap back.
