Transportation Change

This is funny.
In reference Number: GCUS-9-7011, it states:
You may see a minor delay in your referral orders (non-CSO3) from Michigan plants Lansing, Flint, Ypsilanti, Pontiac, Willow Run.
My question is, what does GM consider a minor delay? It currently takes a week to receive non-CSO3 orders from some of these plants. So is this minor delay in addition to the major delays that we are experiencing now?
It’s a crap shoot now if you’ll even get a service lane part from Lansing the next day.
We continue to go backwards.

But the customer is the focus of everything we do. Wait that's right we have to take care of our customers. May have to order off Amazon to satisfy the customers, since they seem to have a better track record. Gotta love that great GM feeling!!!!

For those of us that have been in the business for a while: When GM introduced the Service Lane Shipping program they took away nearly all remaining discounts and the excuse was to use that money to pay for the OVERNIGHT PRIORITY freight. Of course dealers didn't have to pay for this freight but we really were because we lost our discounts.

Now fast forward a few years - GONE IS THE PRIORITY FREIGHT - where is our discount?

Standard OVN freight doesn't deliver in our area until 4:00 pm.

Dealers and the customers lose again.
