Seriously

Seriously

This is an part of an e-mail I received in reference to a wiring harness that has been on order since April 29th.

The GM processing has advised they are waiting for packaging in order to complete the processing of part 84403137. Although they were unable to provide an ETA, they have agreed to ship 1 piece directly from their location to the dealership. Expect to receive an update no later than 07/30/19.

Seriously, we are out of boxes now! I can not believe someone at GM would think that this was ok to send out. We are waiting for packaging, it is a chassis wiring harness not a frame. 35 years and they still keep amazing me.

The way they have been shipping parts for the last month or so, I'm not surprised that they have ran out of boxes.

Eight spark plugs on the order with a unit pack of four? Yep, we're gonna need TWO boxes that are WAY too big for spark plugs. Three cabin filters of the same part number on the same control number? Yep...you know the drill.

One week later and we are still waiting on packaging to ship a SPAC Case from April 29th. This is the latest message from the SPAC Executive:

The Plant Liaison has sent another request for an update to the processing center. I apologize for the continued delay. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship until the correct packaging is available.

Still waiting for the part. The owner of the dealership sent Tim Turvey an email yesterday around 4:45 P.M. in regards to this situation. It actually got to him and he had 2 people from GMSPO call me this morning at 7:45 A.M. They apologized for the delay and told me they would get back to me with a resolution shortly. I will update my post when I get more information.

They're cutting down the tree to make the cardboard to make a box as we speak.

Here is a portion of an E-Mail that was forwarded to us from Eric Cunningham.
" I understand the frustration you are experiencing because of our current network restraints, I take full accountability and my CCA team is working around the clock to resolve these issues and make our Dealer Network whole. We are laser focused on improving our relationship and remaining your valued partner."

That in itself is a huge joke. The rest of the letter goes on to tell us that someone from the field team is coming to spend time in the service drive to help "provide exceptional service experience and inspections one customer at a time"

Next paragraph explains the field team will be asking customer if they are using their reward points today and signing people up for rewards.

So they are not here for us but to sell the shitty Rewards program.
