GM tire billing slowness

GM tire billing slowness

Postby Zep33 » Thu Aug 29, 2019 3:00 pm

Hello

I have a large stack of un-invoiced tires going back almost a month. Always Goodyear tires

Is this pretty normal that it takes GM so long to bill us for tires?

or is this Goodyear just taking their time submitting to GM?

or is the local distributor taking their time submitting to Goodyear?

I hate having to account for all this crap at the end of the month, every month

I would have to say that it is likely the distributor. My oldest un-invoiced tires are from 8-26, and I will likely get the invoice on them tomorrow.

Sounds like who ever your getting them from is the problem. GM wont bill you until they are billed. Call your rep!

I'm almost always billed within 2-3 days as well. We use US Autoforce for tires.

If your Goodyear distributor is anything like ours, yeah, it's terrible. If it wasn't for some Goodyear/Bridgestone OE fitments for warranty replacements, I would have fired them as our rep as soon as they split and decided to do their own thing.

Thanks guys,

I was kinda leaning to it being our distributor. In early July, they actually over billed us for 2 and after 2 or 3 phone calls trying to get a credit, they billed us for 2 more instead of crediting us. So now they owe us a credit for 4. Several phone calls later, still waiting.

I think it's time we move on from those guys
