we bill the roll to the service department as a shop supply, and service files specific allotted $ to the WPC, as noted in the recall.

To the service dept. We get 10 bucks for the rivet's and they get an hours labor.

This is a locally sourced supply, do not order from GMCCA.

I guess I have been reading the above incorrectly. I read "not to exceed $1.60" as the maximum reimbursement.

Are you saying you get the $1.60 PLUS the warranty mark-up of 40-41%?

No, your tape at warranty markup should not be more than the dollar figure they specify.
