Engine core return

When sending an engine core to Hollingsworth do I need to send it as hazardous or not? Any input is appreciated.

No it not hazardous. Just make sure to send any additional parts back in a separate box...either secured inside the crate, or banded to the outside as one piece. Do not send a package via ups, and the engine via truck.

I never send additional parts back with a core return. I do when warranty parts center wants it back, but not with a simple core return. When the warranty parts center wants any part back and if I'm not sure if hazmat or not I call the warranty parts center 248-371-9901 and ask Jackie if it's hazmat or not. Works for me..

I read the op wrong. WPC returns have to be one shipment. The paperwork will indicate if it is hazardous or not for either WPC or core returns.
