Let us know what is going on BEFORE things actually happen. It can't be that difficult to inform the dealer body when the decisions are already made by corporate.

To be able to do what your asking would take some sort of reasoning that they are not capable of. A group of 5 year olds could run it better than them. HAve you seen the crap they are going to do with cores?
I am not sending any cores back unless I absolutely have to. The game they are going to play is a good way for me to loss track of it and get debited.

what are they doing with cores??

Smoyer,
They are crediting all cores before they check them in. At the end of the month they are going to take the money back and then credit the correct amount back to us. I understand that it helps put money back into out dealers faster, especially since Hollingsworth is short manpower. Plus, if you are like me, you sent back as many cores as you could to get that money back into our pockets. The problem only comes to play if they do not give us a full core credit. This to me is a shell game, and one more thing that we have to watch for with the pencil pushers at GM.

This is how Chrysler has done it. They do it for cores as well as returns. Just keep track of the final credit, because you have nothing else to do.

OMG! Core logistics is overwhelmed with cores....... This is what us dealers have been saying for years. Coming soon! Cores on hoods, purge valves, tire pressure sensors, and rotors just in case you didn't have enough going on! Love that GM feeling!
