EVERYONE HAD LPOS
DID YOU KNOW SALES GET POCKETS LINDED WITH CASH FROM ADI TO ORDER CARS WITH LPOS AND PARTS DEPTS GET NOTHING.WE NEED TO STOCK ALL THAT STUFF IN .WHEN THEY INSTALL IT NEED TO BRING THEM TO INSTALLER FEET.THEN NEED TO PICKUP TRASH THEN ARE DONE.THEN STUFF MISSING SALES DEPT WANT US TO SPEND HOURS ON PHONE WITH ADI TO FIX IT.THEN WHEN SELL CAR. THEY WANT US TO TAKE ON TRADE. NO ONE WANT THAT LPO JUNK.WHEN TAKE ON TRADE IT DIRTY AND SCRATCHED

I love them! Service gives parts 15% of install labor and all i have to do is store them in back room. Easy Money.

You are lucky!! You have a great deal there, almost every other dealer I know, the parts dept gets the shaft on LPO's

To the OP, there is no way in the world that I would be taking LPO parts in trade whether it was installed or not.

here we have to check in, store and hand out the LPO's if wrong lpo is handed to tech and gets installed parts is responsible for for the labor and if something is missing when time for pdi parts is responsible to pay for missing part

Perhaps I got lucky, but my SM doesn't order cars, DP does. All accessory incentive bonuses, including SFE money, goes to the parts department.

LPO = Leave Parts Out , i need a tshirt with that on it !! The LPO system has been broken for years. Just a little FYI to add fuel to the fire , sales is also incentivised on the parts accessories sales numbers. In our dealership here we do about 35k + a month in accessory sales through parts NOT service NOT sales . The sales department isn't real big into LPO's thankfully BUT The GM SFE dealer program gives a monthly bonus payout to GM dealership sales departments based on rooftop accessories total sales amount. Why wouldn't parts get the incentive if we selling the accessories ?!?! I swear GM hates their parts parts departments

We sell all tire in parts but GM parts service $2.00 each payout to sell them UNREAL!!!!

We share in a portion of the labor from service department LPO installations plus all the labor on the transit wheel returns. Decent money maker for my department.
