Brake rotor storage..

How do you guys store your brake rotors? Flat? Or on their side?

Working on restructuring my parts room, and the previous guys have stacked all of the brake rotors on end.

Just wondered what everyone else did.

Flat just like the Earth - at least that is what GM told me, and I am learning to like the Cool-Aid.

I've seen them on end, and warped

The Napa store I used to work for stored them on end. And the heaviest ones on the higher shelves. That all ended when I dropped a 1 ton truck rotor on my foot and broke my foot.

I've always stored them flat, about 20 years ago when I worked for Pep Boys, they stored them on their edge and they finally broke down and resurfaced them fresh out of the box after too many comebacks on warped rotors.
