WORKING WITH GENERAL MOTORS GLOBAL CONNECT.
IS LIKE WORKING WITH A NEW EMPLOYEE AND WONDERING IF THEY ARE GOING TO SHOW UP ON TIME OR NOT AT ALL.

THIS IS A EVERYDAY OCCURANCE.

I JUST WANT TO GO TO WORK EVERYDAY AND HAVE EVERYONE(GM AND GLOBAL CONNECT) SHOW UP ON TIME AND READY TO WORK.

It's too much to ask for 99% uptime while thousands of us are trying to do our jobs.

I forgot to comment on this in the Parts Managers Survey. If anyone reading this still hasn't finished their survey it may be a good idea to remind them how frustrating it is when Global is down at the absolute worst times during our work days.

update: 10:47 we're back! I guess if your site is down a lot, cyber security may not be your strong point ( or a relevant point, idk?)

Filling mine out today (and probably tomorrow) DM has been on my case for a week about it . Told him I wanted to wait to make sure I get everything together for the book I am about to write.

GM IT: Yea I know!

GMD: Well?

GMIT: Well, what?

GMD: When will it be fixed?

GMIT: I don't know sometimes between here and eternity

GMD: Okay as long as we have a time frame. Because we don't really need it!

GMIT: I know right? Thanks for your patience!!!!

Can you give me the phone number to the IT guy that takes care of Global Connect.
I want to wake him up when I get up. So when I come in to work at 8:00 its ready to go.
That will give him 2 hours to feed the animals that run Global Connect

ZEP33 YOU ARE TOO EARLY . THEY MUST HAVE FED THEM AFTER 7 IN THE MORNING. IT WORKED AT 8
