13507374 bad stock?

Postby Parts007 » Thu Oct 29, 2020 8:05 pm

13507374 GM hub/brg. I have 9 on the shelf. 2010 Lacrosse. All 9 wouldn't fit. Splines were slightly different than what came off. I ordered the AcDelco Advantage Hug Brg and it fit.

i already filed a case with Partech and RFI.

Anyone else experience this?

WE HAD THE SAME SITUATION WITH A HUB ON A OLDER IMPALA . SAME THING WITH THE SPLINES.
WE PURCHASED A TIMKEN FROM LOCAL AUTO PARTS . THAT DID THE TRICK

Was it a rear bearing? We ran into the same thing on an Impala and checked engineering notes and found:

PART NUMBER 13585741. HUB ASSEMBLY. THE STUD PLATE. IS CORRECT AT APPROXIMATELY. 12 MILLA METERS THICK. AND WILL NO LONGER FIT MODEL YEAR 2005 TO 2010 IMPALA. THERE IS NO ALTERNATE AVAILABLE.

The Delco bearings still work fine.

There is quite the broad spectrum of applications on this one! We've sold at least a dozen this year, only one on a Regal, and one on a Lacrosse. Both went on ok. Wonder if the axle has been changed at some point?

I am going to test that theory on the next vehicle with that application.
