Any of you GM guys serviced out of Memphis 092. We are being told they are still closed because of weather.

I get referrals from them. That would have been nice to know since I was just overnighting something from them that was ordered CSO last week with no response for a wholesale customer!

Nevermind. GM finally posted a message.
Last week's winter storms caused shipping delays for some of our PDCs and FedEx. Memphis PDC was shut down for a few days. Memphis re-opened as of today at 4 p.m. FedEx's main hub was down most of last week. FedEx is working to mitigate their shipping backlog. Estimation for FedEx to be current is end of this week. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work to recover the health of our distribution network.

And funny how FedEx can be caught up in a week, but it takes GM 1-2 months?

Our PDC (029 / Montreal) was closed last week due to what we believe to be a COVID outbreak. Of course our district manager never came out and said those words directly...but if you read between the lines from the memos we got...it sure seemed like COVID. "Operational issue that will cause us to be closed for a few days".

Ugh...what a shit show. Today we got about 3-4 days worth of orders all at once but it was all random parts of orders...nothing complete. We were told to only order CSO/urgent only...DRO was for stock and would be low priority. Well I got about 50% stock/50% customer today. I'd rather they focus on getting all my customer stuff here before stock...we can hold the fort down for another week or so before really needing any major stock.

From what I understand Memphis had temps in the sub-zero area. And they do not bury their water line very deep. Frozen water mains all over town. Including FedEx main hub. :o

If it makes you feel better several times in the last year out of 006 I have placed QPO orders and received them next day however my DRO order gets held up for days. At least once a week myself and everyone else on the delivery route has one random day a week that we all get CSO only
