Does anyone here run a social media account for their parts department? Instagram, Twitter, Facebook? If so what is your target audience?

Our shipping and receiving clerk runs ours. It has served somewhat useful to sell hats and small parts.

Found that page on FB...went to join...asks for name, location and phone number to call as part of the approval process to join? A bit much.

I joined a few months ago. They are just making sure your a parts person and not a bot, or a customer, etc....

They do it so service writers, or dealer reps can't join and ruin the fun
