CDK SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

How do you set up special instructions for a customer to pop up when you open a parts invoice? We want to set up a message to pop up when we open an invoice for customers requiring a po or vin number or vehicle number. I've searched CDK's service connect but cannot find it. Thanks in advance.

The function code is OCCU, then ADD/UPDATE tab, then PARTS tab. Here you can add your special instructions and also require a PO before the invoice is closed. The special instructions will only appear the first time you open a quote or an invoice, so if you quote or invoice something for a customer and save said quote or invoice the next time it's opened, special instructions will not appear. We've had this issue before so keep that in mind.
