CORE RIPOFF

Postby olepartsguy » Tue Mar 01, 2022 2:23 pm

I JUST RECEIVED CREDIT FOR 24279064 CORE $1000. INSTEAD OF WHAT I SENT BACK 19431764 $2000. LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER WAY GM IS RIPPING ME OFF.
NOW I HAVE TO SPEND TIME SENDING COUNTLESS EMAILS TO GET MY MONEY BACK. WHO PAYS ME FOR MY TIME? LOL. NOBODY

Fighting the exact same thing here today. Received a $300 credit for part number 12631654 when I actually sent back 19210835 that has a $1200 core.

Same here with several transmissions.
It never ends with GM.

Yes, I am dealing with a similar scenario. I sent back a transmission part# 19431764 for $2000.00 and I received $1000.00 credit for part# 24270749. In it's supercession chain 24270749 is an older number which was probably somewhere on the core unit. I sent an inquiry to the folks at the core place and they emailed back saying that they are investigating it. If this is the case it's going to be with everything, heavy cores are going to be an absolute joy to send back. They are going to have to get it through their heads that GM part numbers change all the time, and hopefully get it corrected.

Just received my additional $1000.00 credit. Luckily it didn't take long! :D

How long did you wait? I sent an e-mail, tried calling (they were closed) and used the contact link from the core return app and still haven't heard back from them.

Going on 15 days now waiting for my adjusted 1,000 credit to come through . Called them again and was told the same thing , It was an internal issue and over 700 applications need to be readjusted manually and could take quite some time ..... what a disgrace

PartScott I want to say about a week or two. I did get a reply back when I emailed SRC stating that they were investigating it. They also replied once they knew that I was getting my credit saying that I would see in it in about a week, but it showed up next day. :D

Thanks...same thing happened here. I sent an e-mail on 3-1, they replied on 3-11 saying a week for payment and I had my credit yesterday.
