Parts Sublet Option for CDK?

Postby pushit7 » Thu Apr 07, 2022 6:04 pm

Hey guys... we use CDK. usually we do submit for service such as towing, heads cleaning, cutting flywheel and stuff like that.
I got hit on pace because we're using AM parts too much. Is there a way to put the aftermarkets part number in the sublet area and still be able to put cost and retail?
or even the non-gm part number we stocks that will be able to charge it in sublet are. :?:
really needs help on this. thanks for your time.

Unfortunately GM has thought of that and that would count as misreprentation or data manipulation (from the PASE guidelines):

Dealers Sales Loyalty (DSL) misrepresentations may result in a chargeback of incentives paid for the period(s) in question and may cause the dealership to be suspended from PASE incentive eligibility for a minimum of 3 months. Examples of misrepresentations include, but are not limited to:
1. Non-GM Parts sold on a Parts/Counter tickets and installed on a repair order.
2. Inappropriate use of an approved exclusion part number.
3. Reclassifying GM VINS to non-GM VINS.
4. Using non-GM Parts in sublet.
5. Reclassifying customer pay and internal ROs with non-GM Parts to a warranty RO.
6. Applying negative dollars or units on non-GM Parts.
7. Low dollar non-GM Parts.
8. Using GM Part Numbers in place of non-GM Parts.

If you are putting in something aftermarket that GM can supply at the time of sale, you're SOL per PASE guideline.
If you are using them because Gm has discontinued or backordered the part, you can submit for PASE exception, which I find cumbersome, just like every other GM program.

I can understand all of that and I totally unaware that it could backfire on PASE program.
We just can't win ... can't compete with aftermarket, backorders and discontinued parts.
Wondering how come other dealers non CDK user able to do that... unless they're doing it carefully and behind the door.
But thanks guys

I saw that on the PASE guidelines couple of days ago... and it's just making you a lot of works!
