Spark plug part# 19459511 to replace everything?

Postby joecool17 » Tue May 31, 2022 9:14 pm

Hello, and this should concern all GM dealers. One of my counter guys was just told by a DPAC agent after trying to look up spark plugs for a 2016 K1500 with an L83, that GM spark plug# 19459511 will replace all spark plugs for all model years from 2019 and previous. Guess what isn't available to order right now? A local aftermarket parts vendor was able to look up the proper acdelco short number which we cross referenced to what we stock on the shelf. We were also told that there are no supercession chains to go by. What do I do with all the spark plugs in our inventory? GM royally sucks these days! :x

I am sorry I am not understanding the concern. With that application you stated 2016 K1 L83, I show 12622441. Plenty of stock available. "to replace everything" is such a large statement.

Do you run the online catalog or do you run a catalog installed on a machine in your department? I run the online version and when I look it up I come up with the 19459511.

We use the online version as our in house server has always had issues uploading the updates. Parts007 You still must have an older version of the catalog. You may want to keep your version so you can still look up spark plugs ;) .

If you use an AC Delco distributor, use their online catalog to get spark plug numbers.

My online catalog shows the same thing. 19459511 with no history. I also have the local version which hasn't updated in 184 days. That version shows me 12622441.
