Interesting, they know they have a serious issue!! We will still get markup though if these are done under warranty correct? Just extra steps for the tech?
I'm certain warranty will still pay markup. Question is, will the PQC send units directly to the dealers? Or will dealer have the option to use stock or obtain locally if available?
WHY DO YOU SAY "EXCHANGE PROGRAM" ? we have not had a PQC exchange for many years. Is someone actually doing this? we did have to resubmit the old number and show that we were invoiced for the old no.. not a big deal for the warranty clerk
so this week... we went to put in the first one of these our tech went thru pqc to get..
pqc had the vin, ro number and part number from catalog..
pqc sent us the wrong year model engine and they will not interchange. injectors wont fit in the heads... zippy so far they have no idea if it is returnable, how that works..or if i can use this in another job.. i have 2 others here that need the 12740076, but both of those show shipped already
s, the story from our service rep. pqc just figured out there is more than one part number 6.2 engines.. so they are aware they have sent some out wrong. we had another one towed in today that needs the 12740076 and our rep told us to make sure pqc knows not to send us another one.
