we are going to up some fast moving parts, mainly filters just to ahead of the curve

At least here at my dealership, stocking up on parts we sell the most based on the thought that they are going to go up in price would only show up on the LIFO report as appreciation in inventory value once GM does the monthly price tape update which does not get applied in anyway as profit for the parts dept.

Looks like they are pausing some of them for 90 days.

My concern was the manufacture running low due to dealers buying a lot of stock like we did before the strike and causing a lot of back orders.

Have to keep an eye on this stuff in the next few months.
