CONTROL # RECL15817 INFLATOR

Post by Denise Trimble »

Anyone else seeing this drop in your answerbacks? Pre-ship I guess. We have what appears to be quantity 1 coming, another dealer close by has quantity 2. Part #84255088

Thanks for the info! We only just got the first answerback today. I hoped it was for the trucks, we get a lot of customers who call to ask if "GM has a remedy yet?"

It looks as though we will have to order these like the Cobalt recall by using the vin in the comment section. Just one more hoop again. Gotta Love that Great GM Feeling!!!!!!

NO, you're not! Thankfully, this is why I am glad we can ask on this forum. I could not find any info from the answerback, and assumed it was a pre-ship recall part, but for what? Once given more to go on by a member of this forum, it makes sense. GM should have thought of that too. I had problems, when the ignition switch ordering began, with receiving answerbacks FOR OTHER DEALERS!!!

We are ALL missing something, communication from General Motors to their dealers! This is just one more example.
