GM LINERS

Post by CHUCKINPARTS »

LATEST NEWSFLASH FROM GM..................

Due to increasing demand for the popular Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac All-Weather Floor Liners, our demand has significantly exceeded current production capacity.
As a result;
• GM is temporarily restricting all ADI-to-Dealer and Dealer Direct purchases of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Accessory Floor Liners (on most GM vehicles).
• ADIs will still deliver inventory to support both LPOs and e-commerce orders only.

So rather than figure out a way to ramp up production on a popular item (especially with winter coming) we are being RESTRICTED from ordering liners to sell.

BRILLIANT GM...........
With this type of leadership lets all get ready for another bailout...................

It just blows my mind that they would print something like that………..HEY YOU ARE GOING TO FAST AND SELLING TO MANY SO SLOW DOWN………. Any of you have the guts to tell your owner or General Mngr……… UMM I need to slow down because things are going to fast .
We are talking about a piece of plastic that is extruded into a mold. How friggin hard can it be to pump out a bunch of these.

GM's head is so far in the darkness right now that they need a glass belly button to see the light of day. ADW's won't even place them on order and ship after the restriction is lifted...we have to call back to order them.

Oh yeah, forgot my favorite tidbit from GCUS-9-6787...
Until a solution is in place for the Floor Liners, dealers are encouraged to consider alternative ADI-to-Dealer accessory purchases that offer interior protection, such as all-weather floor mats, cargo mats, cargo security shades, etc. Contact your local ADI for availability.

Are you kidding me? The customer doesn't want "alternative ADI-to-Dealer accessory purchases that offer interior protection", they want floor liners.
