Repair link

Post by Torgy »

who's is using it...pros and cons. We tried Revolution Parts for our Hyundai line and it was not a good fit for us because of the fee's ,and man power. We since have added another person to the dealership and I think we should be able to handle the additional workload. But we have to be in with both feet or out.

We use it!! We have quite a few w/sale customers that use it. They can look up their on parts and order on line. Very few wrong parts. Only con is the fee OE CONNECTION charges. But the amount of sales to shops more than covers it.

I use it, but you do need to push the wholesale shops towards it. It works well for the customer who is in a hurry and doesn't want to chat on the phone. As for the fees, it gets lumped into my OEC monthly GM statement so I'm not really sure how much it actually costs..... (My bad, I think I'll look into it tomorrow morning!)

D2DLink, CollisionLink and RepairLink can all be filed with iMR funds for reimbursement. Cost you nothing but time filing them.

I knew that we could recover $100 of the $300 per month for Collision Link with our IMR funds. I will be looking into this some more.

Please elaborate... I know about Conquest claims but had NO CLUE I can get D2D, Collision Link and RepairLink paid for using funds. Where can I find a tutorial on how to submit for reimbursement to go into my parts account?

They need to be claimed through the "Dealer iMR and Group LMA Advertising" app in Global Connect.

Under the iMR section, submit claim, advertising and promo, input all of the info, (Activity Type = Subscription Fees), Upload a file of your invoice (you will have to download and save a PDF file of your GM Invoice to attach the the file; Submit and it should be accepted and paid in 48 hours or less.
