Return Advice

Post by bluepart »

Ordered a $900 + dollar headlamp 4-1-20 sourced out of plant 058. Part was for EMS vehicle. My customer was pushed to repair this vehicle. Could not get any reliable ETA. Had to repurchase from another dealer to repair vehicle. Original part came in 4/21/20 as a FREE ASTRAY. Any ideas on how maybe to return this to GM? Thanks in advace.

I have submitted 3 parts to 051 that came in way too late from the original order date. Used Part Shipped in Error and COVID as return reason and they were accepted. The people at 051 are the best I have ever had to deal with throughout GMSPO. Kathy and Craig are always willing to help with any issues we have.

Contact your dealer liaison and they will help you through it.

I'll second that. The staff at 051 has been absolutely amazing to work with.

Is anyone having any luck with returning parts that are only a day or 2 late from your local. This is every single week i am shorted mutiple parts that i have vehicles in shop waiting for parts. That i then have to pickup from another local dealer. I know GM has had a "standard of service" B/S but this is getting just getting stupid. Why should i have to eat this part. This is every week for me at least 1 or 2 parts a week that are local but take a day or 2 extra before i see them and im tired of it. Anyone having any luck doing a "shippsed in error" claim and if so what steps are you doing? Notes wise, just trying to figure out whats actually working.

We are out of 030 Hudson WI, they are pretty good giving shipped in error. I just say when I ordered it and when I received it and it took to long and had to get from another dealer, I always get my credit.
