Fill Rate or Level of Service

Does anybody have an accurate way of figuring out your fill rate or level of service? What is an acceptable percentage? Our DMS does not keep track of emergency purchases so I have a hard time getting an accurate percentage. All of your thoughts and ideas would be appreciated!!

Parts level of service equation

(Gross Sales / (Gross Sales + Lost Sales) x 100) = Parts Level of Service

LEVEL-OF-SERVICE = TOTAL SALES / TOTAL SALES + LOST SALES + EMERGENCY PURCHASES
