GM calendars

Post by westside »

Is anybody else waiting for calendars yet? We only received half the order so far. And of course they don't answer their phone.

Are calendars still a thing? I quit stocking them in 2007. I do remember growing up in my dads independent shop circa late 70s and 80s...calendars were nice. I always flipped to my bday month to
see what scantily clad little lass was kind enough to have her photo taken. lol Those were the days!

We still get them from Teldon, a bunch of people still ask for them believe it or not...

I got them late October, I think they started calling me in March to confirm the order

I make my own with wildlife and bird pics I've taken locally here. Customers love them and start asking for them in November. This is my 6th year doing it. Our group has a graphic place we outsource things like that too.

I think it's much better than the canned scenic and car calendars everyone else has. Adds a little local flavor

Ours have been trickling in since the week before Thanksgiving. I think they're all here now. They do go fast, and people begin asking for them in October. We have people who only stop by at this time each year to get free calendars and our owners do not want to disappoint!

I didn't know you shot photos! Id love to see the calendar somehow! This is a great concept!!! I normally shoot weddings and some car stuff, as well as some commercial stuff (headshots and facilities), but I decided for 2022 to pull in the reigns a bit and shoot more of what i want to do, not so much of what generates income.
