Not related to my last question, but what happens when you get no credit for a transmission core return to GM? There seems to be no explanation on the invoice, just $0.00 in credit.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
No credit on heavy core return
Re: No credit on heavy core return
So, I have had this happen a few times with light cores. You will have to send an inquiry via the Core Returns Center. It may take a while for them to get back to you. There have even been times that they never even replied to me, but then get my core credit issued on a later invoice.
Re: No credit on heavy core return
I have had that happen a few times, I typically give it a week more then its recifided on a later invoice.
Not the best method, but it has always shook out, even if it takes a little longer, I just keep an eye on it in my core book.

Re: No credit on heavy core return
ok thank you, where do you send the inquiry to the Core Returns Center? Is it through a particular email address?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Quicker and easier to just click the contact us link in your core returns app. You can message them directly there.
Re: No credit on heavy core return
Keep bugging them... I had 2 cores that just got paid after more than 2 months.
Re: No credit on heavy core return
Call or click to contact them after tracking the core. You'll get credit issued within five business day if tracking has it received at the cross dock.

same here. Emailed them and had the credit a few days later
