Hey guys
Been a while since I heard from this place but they got one of my employees while I wasn't around
They call saying they owe us a credit from a while ago and need to apply it to an order. My employee fell for it and a little case of packing tape showed up the other day and an invoice in the mail for $192.xx after their "credit" was applied. They used his name for the PO and the shipping label so he opened it when it came
I wrote a couple choice words on their invoice and mailed it back to them. UPS wouldn't let us refuse the box of tape since we had opened it so I'll just hang onto till these douchbags start calling for payment. If they want it back, they can send a tag for it cause I'm not spending a dime to ship it back to them.
That's their MO and they have a ton of complaints on the BBB for the same shit.
Be careful guys. At least I recognized it for what it was but I know some companies just pay invoices when they get them and this place will never stop sending stuff if they've been paid.
U S Office & Industrial Supply - scam

Someone called today about a "Missed shipment", had the counter guy hang up on him
Re: U S Office & Industrial Supply - scam
I got that one earlier last week...US Shipping or something like that. I told the guy he had to be mistaken because we don't rely on 3rd rate shipping companies to get our orders to us and hung up.C8RFAN wrote:Someone called today about a "Missed shipment", had the counter guy hang up on him

We get calls from bogus outfits asking for our parts manager. We tell them he died last year. Theyy ask who the new parts manager, the call gets sent to me because it's fun time. I usually tell them I just got out of jail for shooting a telemarketer that keeps calling from (then I name their company). Silence then click.
Had a company named All American Automotive that kept calling back in the day. He finally called the owner and complained about my attitude every time he called. The owner flat out said, "Maybe you do not get the point, Alan does not want to purchase any of your junk. And that is why he runs the parts department".

They must be required to keep calling the same people over and over. One company that kept calling us never got the hint after telling them every time that we don't want their junk, so much so they'd start asking for "Nick the Prick" when they called in. I always made it my mission to live up to the nickname whenever they called from then on.
