Aged out rim

Post by James96 »

Took over a department with aged out rim (never returned) I called the help desk .. not much help. Beside going through each part number and emailing them proof of purchase, is there any other way to get these parts to be protected again?

you could lost sale each one and see if rim picks the numbers up, you would have to wait another 15 months though to return them

it doesnt matter if you protect the parts on your shelf . RIM knows what came from them and when it came from them. So proposing something on your shelf would only affect the next Rim order that comes in.

Yes, I understand that. But these part numbers never got returned after they have aged out. I am not sure why, but now I seem to be stuck with 200 part numbers that should have gone back last year. They are also already over a year old. So even a CSO return wouldn’t work.

what is the value of these 200 numbers? put them on d2d at cost minus whatever, or rite them off hopefully you negotiated not being responsible for the overaged stuff before you took over
