GM Journeys Program Question

I received a 1099 in the mail the other day from GM. It's for $625 listed as 'Other Income'. On the back in the notes field it says:

Box 3 (Other Income) 2022 JOURNEYS EARN BACK $625

I don't even remember signing up for this program much less receiving any income from it! Has anyone received something like this?

BTW I don't work for GM anymore as of last August so I don't have anyone I can ask.

our service mgr was talked into signing up for that program... he is gone until tuesday i can find out then...

Yes will get these for any awards valuing over $500.00 . Things that count towards them are Earn power dollars and GM Trips through the Journeys Program. When you log into Global Connect there is a short cut link to Earn power . When it loads up there is a box on the top that will display your Earn power dollars awarded to you . These can be used in there store OR you can get have the funds ACH transferred into your bank . Alot of training now like the Cadillac IQ or the Trivie will also award you dollars to your earn power that you can use for things as well .
