PASE payments
PASE payments
We hit our requirements each month in the parts department. For the payment does your accounting give service a percentage of this? Or, does it go straight to your parts account.

100% goes to parts here.
Pretty sad that GM holds the parts dept hostage for their stock order discount.
But we can be set free by buying a BrightDrop EV... makes perfect sense. (insert sarcasm sign)

Not a fan of this program, too many hoops to jump through forcing dealers to waste time on job functions not related to their job.
We put all of it to parts.
Service does not do much to help with retention and the payout is mostly based of off parts purchases.
Also there is no account in service to put it too.

Thank you for all the reply’s. My accounting is going to put a percentage to service. They were never doing that before. So, I called PASE directly and they say yes, service does get a percentage to help with PASE. For example this month service accrual is based off of service land requirements/dealer sales loyalty 1st service visit witch earned them $400 in payout.
PASE did make it clear that it is really up to the dealer to decide where the payment goes.
