I assume they = service writers?
Our service manager created a labor op for this buy 3 get 1 for a buck deal. Parts bills out the tires at full price. Writers charge the discount to advertising.
Parts files a claim on GM TIRE (easy to do) every time you bill out 4 tires on that labor op.
I have the service manager run a report once a week to give me a list of all the RO's that use the labor op so I can double check I filed a claim.

Sounds like our service dept, tell them to watch the powerpoint and make a coupon op for it. Not hard imo just lazinessBrasco wrote:That's how I read it too but they acted like they didn't know how to apply the discount or coupon

The "download" within the notification from March 4, 2025 at 7:42am EST; has the directions on how to process this tire sale.
Global Main Page>Department (drop down) = Parts>click on "Headlines" bubble>scroll to bottom and go to page 2>nearly to the bottom of page 2 is the notification>open the notification and scroll to the bottom to download the directions. You guessed it.....almost at the bottom of that script is THE directions

Yes the billing all 4 out regularly and the submitting are easy, I'm not going to worry about it, we have only did one so far and I billed it regularly and then submitted for the 65% bs, if they don't do a coupon properly it's on them I have enough to worry about as is.

Re: B3G1
We directed the discount line to go to the tire sales account (490) and when we get the rebate on our GM invoices we put them to the same account that way we will know the true cost of this program.
