Looking to know those of you that have a really good stockman or woman what do you pay them? Do you offer any bonuses for that position?

I feel that a good, dependable stockman
is as important as the best counterman that
I have. The person that I have in charge of
of my shippping and receiving department has
been with me for 10 years. He handles all of
our incoming and outgoing material. Warrenty
returns, cycle returns, MRA's, RFC's, and any
thing else that happens to come in to our store ( sales brochurs, tools, etc.,etc.)
I pay him just as I do my counter people
( salery + a commission on department sales).
A mistake in shipping and receiving is as
costly as a mistake in selling; If not more
so!!!
