Acadia oil change mess

does any one have a easy clean up process after an Acadia oil change , when dropping the oil filter as it hot some type of wand to clean the mess

Unfortunately, we use almost 1 can of brake clean on every oil change on an Acadia or Enclave.

Same here, we use a lot of brake cleaner. Sometimes worry about engine heat and brake cleaner. Lube tech also gets burned sometimes - not good.

If only someone could come up with a remote filter. Think 4x4 S10...then we could sell oil cooler hoses again. LOL

Get a bottle, cut the bottom out of it and make a type of ramp on the bottle to catch the oil that comes out when removing the filter. This will eliminate 95% of your mess.
