I just took over this GM parts department and have a ton of Wynn's product that the previous service " manager " had swapped in for some BG stuff. It doesn't sell AT ALL but local Wynns guy won't take it back or give any
" in store credit " I've got a part number list and am willing to sell below cost of course. Thanks

Re: Unused Product
Why not just add it on your used cars recon process until the product is gone and call it a day and not lose any money???

My UCD and NCD sales managers are way too tight for that to work.

The service manager already has set up $10 "spiff" to her and her writer ( yes - she set up a spiff to herself ) and still can only sell the occasional coolant / trans flush.

Re: Unused Product
I have questions, I am sure you asked them when you became Parts Manager:
1) Why is the Service Manager ordering/trading parts inventory?
2) Do you plan to keep this product line in stock, and if not
3)Will your DP let you bill the product to Service and let Service recoup the money they spent. In & out of 6105!
I had to touch base with the DP, but he let me do it!

1) The last time I had a meeting with the DP and service " manager " about these kinds of things, she cried.
2) No- I don' t plan to keep in stock, still trying to get swapped out for product I do sell.
3) Also in the process - keeps getting put on back burner
