Re: GM Lotto Sale
Yes, I remember those sales. I only participated one time. I ordered three 350 (4 bolt main) short blocks, complete with crank, rods and pistons. Got all three for $250 each. Absolutely freaked out when GM invoice came with normal cost of $1,500 each, if I remember. GM rep told me it would fix ...

Re: Commission based off of Gross/Net
One suggestion ... See if they would agree
Take complete physical inventory upon start of job.
Determine actual obsolescence by an agreed upon MNS / MNR. Non-RIM protected (and whatever Chrysler has) parts.
Agree that whatever it costs to rid the inventory of these parts does not count against ...

When did Silver battery become Gold
Recent battery pricing update has me checking sales pricing.
When did the Silver battery, such as 78PS, become Gold. The 78PS has a 30 month replacement warranty. By definition 30 month warranty is a Gold battery. The battery part number and label suggest Silver but a Silver battery only has a 18 ...

BE AWARE
The list in EPIC is not current / correct.
The list I found in EPIC last night is not there today.
Pull the battery pricing list from Parts Workbench Plus --- it is different and has revised pricing.

Re: Battery Price Increase
I took the time Friday to review all battery pricing and revised the labor slightly. I thought it was unusual that pricing had NOT changed. Sent changes to the National Retail Program first thing this morning.
Oh well, nothing to do anyway :( ---just have to revisit it.
I like how the list is ...

GM Return Reserve Conversion
For those of you who request a cash conversion of return reserve: Did your conversion happen like previous years?
Ours did not. We still have 2022 reserve dollars and received a $ 3.00 (three dollars) credit.
Not what we expected.

PASE exempt part number for VCI
From time to time we sell an accessory that requires the vehicle configuration information (VCI) to change. Most of the time the accessory has a number in the box that allows the VCI to be changed without cost. This is not always the case. Diesel idle time is an example.

Re: GM's PASE Chemical "Buckets"
I also believe I have "somewhat" of an understanding of the "bucket" system they are using. That said there are definite issues with their system. We purchase ALL of our oil from GM and have done so for 30 years. We had GM perform a snapshot and correct inventories a couple years ago. A couple weeks ...

GM Advertising Money
Be certain and watch your GM ad balances. I thought I had made more than enough claims and were overdrawn for the year. GM is so far behind that they added money to our account for oil delivered in late November. According to the website it was posted 12/31 but didn't show up on our "fund status ...
