GM PASE MPVI/Menu's not reporting

We create a MPVI or menu for every retail customer that comes to our shop, yet for the first week of December none of them reported to PASE. Have any of you had this issue?

Thank You.

Re: Glass Company asking for part# but not buying

We stopped giving out part numbers to customers a few years ago, with a few exceptions for repeat customers who we know we can trust to not run to NAPA, or the internet retailers with our part number. Customers bitch about it, but we explain the cost involved with the time/labor involved, plus the ...

Re: GM 35% Restock Fee

The restock fee should go to 68800.

This also where you should put the price difference from a buyout from another dealer as well. If you buy a part from a dealer and GM cost is $1.00 and the dealer charges you 15% over cost, so you pay $1.15, $1.00 goes to 24200 and $0.15 goes to 68800. This keeps ...

Snap-On Catalog Price Gouging

I was wondering what other dealers are paying for Snap-On cataloging? I have 5 licenses, GM and Isuzu catalogs, and get charged $1200 per month. I was talking to a buddy of mine who is a parts manager at a Ford store, they use Snap-On, his store is the same size as mine and he pays $700 a month.

Re: Perhaps GM is looking for you - Here is your chance...

Sounds like my DMA, young, inexperienced and not really able to help me with anything.

I remember when we had parts only reps from GM that at least tried to help you out, made sure you knew about upcoming programs and if you were missing any opportunities. Today all I get is, "You're not selling ...

Re: WASTE MY TIME ASKING FOR INFO

We had the same issue at our dealership and a few years ago and we stopped giving out part numbers, with a few exceptions for good customers or someone broke down on the side of the road and we don't have the parts. Our DMS is CDK and we put everything on a quote, so even before the customer asks ...

Re: ADP/CDK Inventory

You can run business as usual when you start your inventory. After you finish your counts run report PSAC, Parts With Activity, the run PSEC to enter the adjustments from the parts you sold.

Run PSCL, Inventory Checklist, Physical Inventory to get step by step instructions on how to run your PI.

Re: Worst Catalog ever- SNAP ON

We run a server that feeds 5 clients and the search function is super slow. They need to change the search function so it only looks for the part name and not the every time it appears in the description. I called my sales rep from Snap-Off and left him a message complaining about paying $950 a ...
