BOOT ALLOWANCE

does anyone have a written outline of a boot allowance? we have found alot of dealers in the area going to this as an incentive for their techs, and mine have approached me, so i am considering it.

BOOT ALLOWANCE

Gosh I hope you mean boots ... like what you wear and I am not missing some new catch phrase.

If offered I see something like company pays 50% of new boot twice a year for a maximum of $150 per year.

Offer to pay half, because that makes the tech make at least somewhat of a purchase decision with his own money. Set the maximum reimbursement at the price of a good set of boots for your area/shop customs.

Speaking of which I like a good pair of Wolverine steel toes, which run about $110 here in NJ.
