Cancelled: Not a valid VIN for recall

I've been using the last four of the VIN as the control #. The only ones I have had cancel were ones that either the advisor wrote the VIN down wrong or I fat fingered it when I was placing the order.

KARTDAD wrote:If you go into workbench and pull up the order in "View order status summary", you can click on the order number. Another screen will open. Look at each order under that control number and you will find the ones that cancelled. If the order was input correctly, the VIN# should display.
i did see that .one order number has vin listed correctly, and another order number below that shows the cancelled order. same vin ,same customer name listed?

The easiest way I have found to see which ones have cancelled is in Parts workbench " order status detail" Put in 088 as facility and take the order number from answerback and use part number ordered then search. It should pull up vin number used in details

I put 6 orders in last Friday 5/9 for 14092 (The day they released the bulletin) and all those say PBO (No ETA)
I put 1 order in yesterday and it's already under review

checked all my 14063 orders today and none say cancelled - it would be obvious right? if you go in to order summary and check each control #?
All my 14063 orders say RVW

I can't imagine having over 400 of these things on order - what a nightmare for you guys. It's bad enough with 30 on order

How do you figure this out, I recieved an answerback saying 2 recalls were cancelled because of duplicate VIN. I checked on view order status summary and both numbers are showing "PART UPGRADED TO OVN" Are they cancelled or what?

Ok, I have another this morning. It just says "canceled". I display the order status details and it still just says cancel/see note. There is no note! The VIN is CORRECT. I pasted the VIN from the answerback into Global Warranty and shows the vehicle having the recall. I went through my 160 orders and there is no duplicate. Am I missing something here?
