Too short of notice from Pittsburgh.

Looks like one hell of an oven!

How long does it take to "pre-heat" an oven like that?

Did you build it yourself?

Looks awesome.

Takes about an hour and 15 minutes to get it up to about 800 deg. Does 3 10 inch pizzas at a time and they take about 3 minutes to cook. Sorry JD, I'll try to give more notice next time. It was a good party though. We cooked up about 50 pizzas with all the crew (yup it's great people I work for) bringing lots of side dishes and plenty to imbibe. The wife and I built it for the yougest boy and his bride, as they wanted to get married in our yard, we did 122 pizzas that day.

We cooked up about 50 pizzas

I guess it took longer to assemble them than it did to bake them, I hope you helped, if not your wife deserves sainthood.LOL :D

There is a big table in the shed next to it. Turned into an assembly line. We lay out the dough and then you walk through and put whatever you want on it. Really runs pretty smooth. My wife makes the crust (beer batter sour dough) ahead of time and freezes them. They thaw out in about 1/2 hour because they are thin.
ddeneen; If I still had the plans I would send them your way, but I gave them to a guy that was going down to Mexico and build one. They can be had on-line with a little searching and the best buy is about $100. There was no material list, my wife, yes she IS an angel, who does CAD drafting and some engineering figured out what we needed. Between the cement and brick and insulation it was about $2700 to build. A friend that does stucco work put the finish on it. Niether my wife or I had ever laid a brick before that and my wife did all the face and chimney work while I was working. She is quite the artist.
