Postby JOEMAL » Thu Apr 07, 2016 5:47 pm

looking for a fix, when I try to log into Global Connect with IE 11 the page just keeps rapidly refreshing.(this is the only page that it does this) Also on another computer here when you try to go to the online version of Snap-On GM catalog from Global Connect it says active x can not be loaded. any help would be appreciated.

Click that cog/wheel looking thingy on the top right under the X.
Click "Compatibility View Settings"
Add "autopartners[dot]net"
See if that fixes your issues as it did fix many I was having.

Try Google chrome, we had that problem as well. Chrome works.

That's what I've been doing, I think I just solved the refresh problem in the security tab I unchecked the enable protected mode and seems to be ok now.
still hoping to get an answer to the activex on the other machine.

Just dealt with same issue earlier today.
It has something to do with running I.E. As Administrator.
Right click I.E. Icon from the program menu and click on 'Run as Administrator'.
The browser will open, open Global and try again.

Tried Snap On support and douchebag wanted me to replace computer.
Just reformatted hard drive and reloaded Win 7 Pro, and did so without the assistance
of Snap On. Did so to correct multiple issues on standalone PC. Got rid of preloaded garbage.

Had to call CDK for proper info which in turn led me to call Snap On and tell them a new computer was unnecessary.

Setting this 'Administrator' to default is more permanent.
Hope this helps.
