Funny the LKQ/Keystone website shows stock.. and to call to order... So I called to order... Lady states that the part is not available because it is on B/O with GM... NO REALLY!?!

Gotta love all these customers in their $50k-$95k vehicles driving around with no A/C because we cant provide them with a condenser, and its not even really hot yet.

I found two sources on eBay.

Just another over engineered marvel from GM.

WHY would you put a trans cooler in a condenser?

And when you know you have a problem, WHY wouldn't you open your wallet to fix it quickly.

It's been taking at least a month to get these in.

Yet another FAIL on the Generals part.

Has everyone seen this?
A personal note: the Supplemental Back-Order Report just tells you things you already know. Very useful.

GCUS-9-4185

Orders for Part Number 84211191 submitted after 9:00 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time on June 1, 2017 are being held in an offline table prior to being processed for shipping. Dealerships can determine order status for these parts by submitting a search via the Supplemental Back-Order Report. Once the orders are on the Offline table you can no longer create SPAC cases.

Please do not contact the Service Parts Assistance Center (SPAC) regarding order information for Part Number 84211191 as agents do not have access to any further detail than is available via the Supplemental Back-Order Report.

The Supplemental Back-Order Report is located in GlobalConnect within the Parts - Reports & Tools App. (Applications > Parts - Reports and Tools > Additional Reports and Tools > View Supplemental BackOrder Report)

The Supplemental Back-Order Report includes:

• Date of order entry

• Part number

• Dealer entered control number

This part has an Order Writing Control in place and DROs (Daily Replenishment Orders) will cancel. Dealerships should place orders as a CSO (Customer Special Order) and must include a valid VIN in the note field. All orders will be reviewed prior to being filled and a quantity limiter of 1 is in effect. Each unique VIN can only be used once per part #. If a VIN is found to have been used more than once for the same part, those orders will be cancelled with an answerback stating "order has been cancelled due to duplicate VIN".

So the guy from the Radiator Store states he has access to a condenser. I bought one. It will be here later today. I will compare the OEM to the AFM one I get and report my findings.. And I am paying a premium for it...double cost.

I know it shouldn't amaze me, but it does that it can take so long for GM to resolve an issue like this. Seriously you would think that they would have a replacement in the works quickly when they see an issue like this. That Great GM Feeling keeps getting better everyday.

we got one from Carquest, but low and behold the GM one showed up today (ordered 4-25-17) compared the two and it appears that it will work. We will save it here until the next customer blows his lid.

We ended up finding one from CarID for about $78 shipped. Looked and installed just fine, no problems as of yet.
