It is available now. The only thing they are doing right is reading this forum. Although it doesn't do much good to all of us unfortunately :o

GM put the video in the wrong "bucket" - dealerships were not allowed to access the video. Once this was fixed we could see the video.

I had the FOM in for one of our stores today. He presented the new report that shows what I would have made under the new program versus what I made under the old program. So far I don't have much faith in his numbers since I have already found one error in their math. There is an error in their excel spreadsheet that overestimates my max available, they are over quoting my max available by 6%. Using their spreadsheet (but corrected) I am going to see my discounts drop a minimum of $12000 per year at my Chevy store. As always, we will learn to work the program, but there is so much that is out of parts control. The program has a max of 40% that is based strictly on parts performance, the factors that control the remaining possible 80% is all controlled by service.

I have retained 100% of my profits from the same day repair program. :D

Not only will the new program lower my reimbursements form GM

I'm sure it will now be split between Parts & Service departments

Listening to these people presenting this garbage made me wonder if they’ve ever set foot in a dealership. I loved when they said that they were “excited” about it. Yeah, I’d be excited too if I knew I was going to be making more money for my company which of course is General Motors. This convoluted pile of excrement represents another nail in the coffins of small dealerships. They didn’t screw the parts departments bad enough with their idiotic “SLP” program, so now the geniuses come up with this crap where 80% of the parts discount potential is dependent on areas that the parts department has absolutely no control over. This is sad and embarrassing.

My DMA stopped by today. He had some paperwork printed out basing numbers off what we are to expect, with what we're doing currently as a dealership. Through this new awesome program, we will be on "pase" to lose about $80,000! Thanks GM

How do you figure out what credit you will be receiving from GM on the new program compared to SLP?

But seriously... 60% of your rebate is not in your hands anymore

I'd make sure your pay plan is not contingent on hitting any of this money

Yes it affects our bonus. Our DMA is already here right now trying to explain it to Service.
