So I just experienced a whole new way to get undercut by the General this week.
We got a convertible top pump for a 2015+ Corvette in with our Fedex shipment earlier this week. We didn't order it and it had an odd control number, so we figure PQC or TAC must have ordered it. No information available from parts workbench and no invoice, even after 2 days. SPAC is no help and can't determine where the order came from.
Then I get the story from one of our advisors. The aftermarket warranty company bought it direct from GM and had them drop ship it to us.
The icing on the cake came this morning. The advisor got a call from the warranty company on this order. The rep from the warranty company stated they got a call from GM this morning explaining to them that I had called SPAC last night asking about the origin of the part. So they get better communication from GM than we do too.
GM keeps setting the bar higher and higher for us, but they can just keep stabbing us in the back with impunity.
