Holy Hell ............ ordered a converter for a customer part number 84256773 gm list 547.67 core charge 100 ............. we get part number 85513036 new gm list 874.95 core charge 400 !!!!!!!!!! talk about killing your customers . somehow we have to justify to our customer the price increase and somehow avoid any negative customer feedback .
Most customers are understanding when it comes to a small increase and part number change issues, but I see your apprehension of approaching a customer with a $325+ increase. Someone has to call them so they are not blind-sided, for sure. Sad for the customer it isn't covered by warranty after seeing the price of these inflator recalls be so low.
Well the scenario of logging into global connect for every single GM part that has to be ordered , is absurd when the part is set up in the DMS already with a bin , pricing and a stocking schedule . The landscape of parts pricing from GM has gotten so out of control and the HUGE up tick in core charge prices is compounding the issue .
AS FAR AS I REMEMBER. IF YOU ORDER A PART AND IT DOES NOT SHOW THE NUMBER CHANGE IN PARTS WORKBENCH THEN YOU CAN APPLY FOR A CREDIT FOR THE DIFFERENCE. SO LOOK AT PARTS WORKBENCH. FUCK OEC D2D ITS ONLY HALF OF WHAT IT SAYS ITS SUPPOSE TO DO. DONT HURRY LOOK IN PARTS WORKBENCH. YOU CAN ONLY BLAME YOURSELF WHEN THE INFO IS THERE AND YOU CHOOSE NOT TO LOOK.
